Families covered: Chalmer(s) of Gadgirth

Herbetus de Camera (Chamberlain, a temp David I who reigned 1124-1153)
1. Reginald de Camera of Gadgirth (a temp William the Lion who reigned 1165-1214)
  A. (Symon?) de Camera
  i. BLG1866 (Stirling of Larbert), which includes a section on this family, indicates that the Reginaldus de Camera who "was possessed of the barony of Gadgirth in the reigh of William the Lion", was father of the Reginald who obtained a charter on that barony in 1320. The dates make it likely that there were some intervening generations. Paterson starts with Symon father of Robrt probably father of Reginald (a 1359) succeedd by William succeeded by Reginald.
