| A contributor (JT, 25.02.07) kindly warned us that the identification of Richard's wife (made in a web site on the Webb family) is "a very substantial claim" which has eluded others. [She is not named in Shakespeareana Genealogica.] The Webb web site refers to a book "William Shakespeare: A Biography" by A.L. Rowse (1963), a renowned Shakespearean scholar and biographer, as a source for some of its data but JT advised us that this connection is not given in that book.
