John de Trenowith in Probus, Cornwall
1. Stephen de Trenowith

  A. Michael de Trenowith of Trenowith (Trenoweth)

  i. Michael de Trenowith of Trenowith (dsp)
ii. Ralph de Trenowith of Trenowith
Commoners & Visitation show Ralph as married only to a daughter of Richard Bushell and reports on their issue. However, although the names/dates may be coincidental, this appears to be the Ralph Trenewith or Trenouth of Trenowth in St. Probus, Cornwall (d 1393, MP) who is shown by HoP ('Ralph Trenewith of Trenowth') as son of Walter by Elizabeth and m1. Elizabeth Rushell (dau of Richard Rushell), 3 sons (1 dvp?), m2. Joan Bodrugan. We speculate that, despite the discrepancy with the identification of his parents, these were the one and same Ralph.

As indicated above, the following is somewhat speculative. It comes from HoP ('Ralph Trenewith of Trenowth') and connected pages with input as reported above
m2. (by 1380) Joan Bodrugan (b c1359, d 1428, dau/heir of Otto Bodrugan of Bodrugan, widow of John Trevanion, m3. John Trevarthian, m4. (Robert) Hill (justice))
The following is supported by 'History of the Deanery of Trigg Minor' (Maclean, vol 1, p554+).
  e. Otto (Otho) Trenewith or Trenouth, later Bodrugan
Maclean suggests that Otho married Alionora, dau of Thomas Peverell, in 1386. However, noting the dates, this was probably the Otho (dsp) who married ...
